Our goal is growth and development in alternative agriculture

These can be any unit, most often shipping containers or closed trailers, which are shielded from the outside elements so whatever is growing inside has its own climate-controlled habitat with all the necessary nutrients, water, and other needs met from within.

A self-sustaining farming setup is not necessarily self-contained; it can be inside greenhouses or even an in-ground farming system. They are simply systems designed to ensure everything growing within them has all their needs met automatically over the course of their lifecycle.

A micro-farm or microfarm, it doesn't matter to us, can be a small space where you try to maximize the utilization of that space and grow as much as possible comfortably within it.  This has been done everywhere from apartment balconies to building rooftops.
